How long should I expect to get the results of the blood work from the doctor? What is a reasonable time to wait?
Thanks! Blood drawn today soI anxiously wait!

A lot of blood work can be done overnight. My tests at Igenex took more than a week.

that stinks! My LLMD mails all originals of my labs to me as soon as he gets them. Waiting that long would drive me insane! Or did that already happen??

As soon as your doc's office receives the test results you should be able to have access to them via fax or mail. Most LLMDs will do this and even ducks do it too. You may not be able to DISCUSS results until physician availability, but you could research the results on your own before your appointment.

Make sense?

Thanks for your response. I think I will ask for the results. I wonder if she will give them to me, thinking I will not have enough knowledge to interpret. It is VERY hard to get through to her office, so I might need to send a letter.
