I'm approaching the 1 month mark since starting Plaquenil & Biaxin. Overall I'm feeling much better than I did on tetracycline. My energy level is way up and no longer plummets unexpectedly. Side effects have been minimal & tolerable.

This week I stsrted having cold like symptoms, sniffles and a slight cough. Oddly when I lay down the sniffling stops but unlike a regular cold I don't get congested. I wake up breathing fine and then sniffles resume.

This last week I have developed a few oval shaped red patches on my thighs & breast. They don't itch and are not raised. The first one is already fading.

Tonight the area under my right eye (where a dark circle would be if I had one) started fluttering. It was different from a tic that moves side to side but was a fluttering in and out. It looked like a pulse but fluttered very rapidly. It would slow down for a split second and they speed back up. It went on for many minutes. The right side of my face is supposed to be the good side! The left side is still recovering from Bell's Palsy.

Has anyone else had these symptoms. Were you taking P&B?
