Does anyone ever think that maybe the treatment they're on is causing their symptoms or making them worse? I know that's supposed to be in a positive way, killing off the keets, but what if it's the medicine or mixing meds that's a side effect and thinking it's the keets die off. I trust my doc, but I can't help wondering, like all of you, what to think anymore when you feel like this for so long.

yep- it takes a long time to get well
I have been taking meds for 2 years-
I have gotten much better--but if
I dont take meds correctly-
it comes back hard and reminds
me how sick I was- and will be
if I mess up--I screwed up a
little over the last day and
i am paying for it now--Jay--

That's why it's important to keep track of symptoms particularly with changes in medicines. I know my fatigue is from drugs, mostly from Flexeril. But the fatigue is better than the pain, so I live with it.

But if something just feels wrong, I think follow your instincts. It was instinct that brought many of us to find a doctor to look for Lyme. Instinct may also be telling us that our system is overloaded or toxic from the medicine.
