I think I may have Lyme...Symptoms now for almost 2 years and a possible diagnosis of BFS or Fibromyalgia. I have read about garlic and started taking it about 2 weeks ago, and have been having an increase in symptoms: one being muscle spasms, all over and somewhat painful... Was wondering if it could be from the garlic? I started taking it for it's antibiotic/antimicrobial effects, and it only makes sense that it could be killing off Lyme. I have just gotten over a cold also, so it could be from this, too. It is really bothersome, and I don't know what to do. Anyone heard of a Herx from garlic? I take an odorless tablet (1200mg) 2-3 times per day. (Also been taking 2 tsp. of apple cider vinegar for about 4 days now...)

Sounds perfectly normal to me.

Trout

PS>>>>>>>>>>>>>could be yeast die-off or another bug also. I don't think that it necessarily beat back Lyme myself. I eat live cloves.

i BELEUVE THE MAIN EFFECTS ARE ITS ANTI-INFLAMATORY response, and the yeast fighting properties.

It will also increase your blood flow nad help whatever you are taking.
