My doc changed me from Biaxin XL 1000mg/day to Ketek 800mg/day on May 25th. Within a day or so of the med change my balance worsened as well as the clonus, could this be associated with herxing? In 1 day, I fell 4 times, so needless to say, I am getting tired of feeling like a Weeble. I am still on IV Rocephin also(5 months).

I love ketek, when it's used in combination with other abx. You're lucky to be on rocephin at the same time. I also found the herx started on Day 2, and I have never even done the full 800mg dose, just 400mg 2x/day. The herx lasted two weeks. Then all the symptoms that were left, which used to be this big indecipherable soup of problems, suddenly fell neatly into categories: babesia, Lyme, bartonella, yeast.
