Okay, for those who haven't been following this....
Everybody in the country, NOT just New Yorkers, please call Assemblyman Silver at 518-455-3791 and tell him you are a patient and you want him to pass A7757 to protect your medical care.
Call tonight and all day tomorrow. Tonight you will get a machine, so leave your name along with the message.
The bill gives due process to physicians to protect themselves from persecution by the OPMC - the state medical disciplinary board. If the bill passes it will help Lyme doctors throughout the country.
We need to let them know we are not going to just lie down and die while legislators give our rights away to rich and powerful special interests (in this case, the Trial Lawyers Association). Ellen

I called and just said that there was four of us sick in my family. I didn't give my address--was hoping he would think I was from New York--not likely with my accent!
Up for more people calling!

I just called Assemblyman Silver's office and left my name. Senator Bruno's office only asked me for my zip code.
