I am new to the lyme net site. My boyfriend has lyme. He was dignosed in 2001. When he was first diganosed he was in denial and had not taken care of himself.
As of December, he has gone back to his LLMD. She is great and we actually have an appt with her on the 9th.
She put him back on antibodics and now he seems to be getting worse. Lately, he has been feeling really awful.
Constant headaches, constant fatigue, aches and pains, shortness of breathe, major anxiety attacks also associated with heart palps.
Two nights ago he was in NJ and had a severve anxiety attack along with heart palps. He was almost 200 miles away from home which made the attack even worse.
It seems to me every stressful situation or thought of having to go to work or deal with people he has another severe attack.
I have read that magensium is helpful during an attack? Is there anything I can do for him to get him through this herxing period?
I have done a lot of research on the disease and feel I am pretty knowledge of Lyme. The hardest thing right now is watching him go through all of this. He knows I am always there for him and he could talk to me when ever needed. I just wish there was more I could do. Any suggestions would be greatly apperciate.
Thanks,
Chloenstein
Chloe, sorry to read about your boyfriend's symptoms; I have most of these too.
What helps me also for my pain is using 5 frozen ICE packs...3M has some great ones. I put 2 in a dish towel DRAW-STRING that most crafters sell. I use this for my lower back or shoulder/back area. I use one on my neck, behind my neck, and my left leg..sciatic nerve area.
Here's TREEPATROL's and TINCUP'S combination newbie links.

Print off the links then check them off as you read as you could spend several months reading all of this.
print & read Dr. Barrascono's info first; you will come back to this often.
