I don't have any suggestions, but I thought you might want to know that I think that is a normal symptom for Lyme, and possibly Babesia. I had a hot, flushed, sometimes stiff face for a while. Felt like I had a fever but I didn't. It may have been a Babesia symptom for me because it stopped after I took Riamet (a malaria/babesia drug).

Amy....I had the exact same symptoms and when my face was hot and stiff it would usually be red also....and sometimes my face would be tan.....with no sun exposure. Now that I have been treated for lyme and babesia and I stay on the medicine, this no longer happens

I have that too, face feels really hot and I feel like I have a fever but I don't. I don't get any othet colour besides pale sometimes but I get very sweaty. I'm pretty sure it ain't menopause in my case because I'm 21 and that would be waaaaay early wouldn't it?

I also had the flushing shortly after being bit on the neck last spring. Then the rash appeared across my chest.

I'm 42 and have been questioning peri-menopause also, but I really think it has to do with lyme and then the hormone fluctation.

At this point I am taking abx combo of doxy/zith because I suggested babesia treatment to my llmd.

well i'm only 29 so i don't think it would be premenopause........but i start getting sweaty after awhile of my face being hot

hands get clamy.....but face never is red

but i do have a round rash on my face and it spreads across to my other cheek buti've been putting collidial silver on my rash and its going away

so i don't know , could be hormones...i never did this til i got my tubes tied....but i wouldn't see how that would matter.........

anyway thanks for suggestions......

Amy, I too went thru this after 1st starting my antibiogics. Other lymies said that was natural; a herx from abx.

I also was going thru menopause too. Yes, my face only would just be as red as a tomato.

I totally got this on mepron/zith. Never had it before, or after. always holding my cool sweaty hands over my forhead ...looked ridiculous if you ask me!

It is supposed to be symptom of babs. Are you on any ABX right now?
