Hello everyone!

I always take primadophilus bifidus (sp?) the kind that requires refrigeration; however, I will be traveling for 5 days and refrigeration will not be available.

Does anyone have any sugestions on a probiotic that doesn't require refrigeration?
The meds that I am taking are ketek, mepron, nystatin and prevacid; I am also on bicillin LA twice per week but I will skip one of the weekly doses due to the refrigeration problem.

Any suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated! THANK YOU!

try "pro-bio" by pharmanex. It does not need to be put in the fridge. It is also very good quality but a bit pricey compared to the stuff you find at your run of the mill store.

The two I use that don't require refrigeration are Primal Defense and Jarrow Dophilus EPS. Good prices at http://vitacost.com http://vitaminshoppe.com
and http://www.iherb.com/

Orthobiotics does not need to stay cool. I get it from my chiropractor, so I am unsure if it is available to the general public or if they just sell it to medical offices.

Jarrow Dophilus EPS is a great one and the price is great. Although some swear by primal defense it does not contain the normal probiotics and is pricier. YOu also need to take 6 of them instead of just 2 of the Jarrow Dophilus EPS
