Marblenose:

I am so sorry that you are feeling miserable.

When did you start the Mepron and what dose are you taking? What about the Zith?

Some people herx at day 3 on the Mepron. I started at a very low dose, around 1/4 cc. every day, and I herxed at day 3. Herxes are individualized and mine did not involve N&V or headache, at that time. A later herx did involve a headache.

My LLMD instructs us to stop meds at the onset of a herx. He says the Mepron/Zith herxes can be BAD.

My suggestion is that you call your LLMD and let him know what is going on. A Mepron/Zith herx has been known to put people in the hospital. I wouldn't take any chances here.

That seems to warrant a call to the doc.

Sounds like it warrants a phone call for sure.
Thanks.

I've been concerned about you. Glad you have decided to go ahead and call your doctor. Hope you are doing it now.

Feel better soon.

Marble,

I threw up only once when I herxed recently at 3 1/2 weeks. The herx lasted 4 days. Achey, tired... blah blah balh. Luckily mine passed quickly. I didn't feel like I need to call the LLMD.

Tell us what the llmd says,
Heather

Nausea, headache and massive fatigue are waht I am feeling (and have in the past). I am on day 4 of a low dose of Mepron. So far the fatigue and nausea are the worst.

If you are vomitting it is a good idea to call your MD. Zith makes my tummy do somersaults so, it could be that.

Bc

Thanks for the responses. I took only Mepron last night. Today I just feel weak and weird.
Blessings,
Marblenose
