Hey everyone,
I posted last night about a possible allergic reaction to the ABX which was only a herx.

Okay, well the heat surges and the choaking feelings went away and now the freakin pricking feelings are HORRIBLE!! WHY!! lol it sucks, it feels like i got a ton of bugs biting my body and i want it to go away.

I took an ativan to see if maybe it would calm the pricking feelings down a bit, do you guys think this would work? OR should i start taking my neurontin that the doc perscribed to me but i never started taking cause im scared of meds? lol

Im a weetard i swear. Im just having new symptoms every day with this herx! Making me want to scream really loud ahhhhhhhh. Someone help me out with this plz on what i can do to aleviate the symptoms?

uhmmmm, also my hearing got really really sensitive today...guess thats a new symptom for me. My sis wasnt too nice about it, i informed her to speak quietly because my ears were sensitive and she yells in my ear, how nice of her right? lol.

Well i hope to hear from you guys soon, you guys are such a big help, i dont know what i'd do without you!

Kori

Kori,

The neurontin won't have an immediate effect. It takes time for the Neurontin to build up in your system. Does your doctor have you starting with a low dose and slowly increasing? Neurontin can cause major fatigue.

Also, I didn't read your other post. Have you talked to a Dr. or pharmacist about your symptoms? You want to make sure it isn't an allergy.

Podi patches from akgnaturals.com got rid of the constant pricking in my feet, ankles & legs.

Epsom Salt baths help too although at first they wiped me out.

Sorry I cant tell you if it will get better or not.

Ms. Kori,

You really must take your Neurontin. It helps with neuropathy stuff. Like the tingling/prickly feeling. And it does take a while to build up. It's not a psych drug so it won't get you all smashed or anything -- don't be freaked about taking it.

Sisters will just be sisters. What're ya gonna do? Tell her to ease up. I jump about a mile when someone yells.

Hope that choking feeling has eased up a bit. Did the doc give you the OK about that? Perhaps a nice, tepid bath would be good... NOT hot but just warm. A walk, if it's not too hot outside. No sisters allowed.

Remember to baby yourself a little. You just got a PICC line, for crying out loud. You're not supposed to feel like going out partying tomorrow or anything. You might feel pretty rough for a bit. But you are going to feel better! Hang in there, Korinne!

:-)

Michelle
