Sorry to ask for help... but I think it is time.
I have an itty bitty ability to do what is needed right now and am being overwhelmed with requests for help from all over the country.
Seems I am working on 500 different topics at a time... at a time when I can't understand why the TV remote won't dial phone numbers for me... and when I do things like fill a cup with ice and put it back in the cupboard instead of using it.
Ever been stuck in THAT mode? Mush for brains? Stress galore?
Is there anyone out there who is willing to look up some info as it is requested.. even once? I sure would appreciate ANY help I can get... and so would those who depend on others assistance.
We have doctors in need of info/documentation as well as patients. We have hearings in several states that could use help also.
We have support group leaders who need help.
As a matter of fact.. if you don't want to help ME.. you can volunteer with your nearest support group. I just said yes to a request for going to a county fair and putting in time for public education by handing out brochures and talking with passer-bys.
Hey.. smelly goats and root beer floats.. everybody LOVES the fair!
Please let me know. I will give you a topic and let you roll with it.
And YOU will be rewarded for your efforts by getting more education for yourself.. and being able to keep the files you develop to help others!
TANKS BERRY MUSH!

>insert nodding smilie here< (I was going to put one in and couldn't find any.)
That said, if you think I can be any help, please email me. (I'd suggest something very small for starters.)

I'm trying to set up a good dutch website on Lyme. The ones we have here aren't very good in my opinion. Also a lot of dutch Lymies have trouble reading the english articles that have helped me so much, so I want to translate them (my english is ok as you may have noticed). I'm just starting, but if you come across any dutch requests for info maybe I can help?

Yes TINCUP, this may be my salvation. I am a research biologist and haven't been very productive at work because i am not at work right now. I am at this time making gifts for a church retreat. It is God's work and i love it, but now i also need something that I can do to help Lyme victims.
Just let me know, the who, what, when, where, how, and why of it and I will start looking. Lemonhead

Hi TC On good days I can do a lot. Bad days...well I just have to stay off internet and computer.
I want to do something to help when my brain is working properly...just hard to predict when that is.
I am feeling better now that things are back on track with meds. but I need to keep a low profile when I am herxing! maybe in a few weeks I will be able to help!
Thanks for all you do! You are the best!

1. This is REALLY helping!
2. Thank you!
3. I just sent out emails to the rest of you who signed on. Sorry it took a while... been tied up all day!
4. Got some good news about the NY Times bad article that was suppose to come out... and didn't! YOUR effort did it!
5. WE CAN WORK TOGETHER.. AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
PS.. Paisley? Is that YOU? New name?
Either way.. please email me. If I had your email it would be too buried under stuff to find. Remember I am the one who is HORRIBLE with emails!!! Thanks!

No.. I DIDN'T forget something!
I just wanted to go to the trouble to post twice in 2 minutes!
Some of you are sending me emails.. lots of them.
GREAT!
But I am not taking time to reply to them all. No can do with little brain power. Must read each one.. copy it to page.. sort through.. organize... etc.
TOO MUCH for my brain to deal with now.
But I want to toss out a BIG thank you .. even if I don't respond to every email!
You have helped so many of us here that I want to do what I can to help. I'm battling fatigue right now and working with the Board of Health in my town on a Lyme Awareness type project. I have a list of things I "want" to do for that.
Plus, things here in (MA) seem to be happening... news coverage, public hearings...
I've been talking to lots of people and getting phone call from people who have been bit or know someone who has been and forwading information to them.
Anyhow, if you have something small that isn't time sensitive, I'll see I what I can do.
