Coach-

Don't know what you mean by "loss" of muscle.
Muscles lose tone often with lyme.

It is hard to work muscles and they tend to atrophy with disuse.

Best supplement???
probably some stuff the body builders use like creatinine...don't use steroids w/ lyme however!
(i'm not a doc, so follow your doc's orders on this)
Are you getting enough Magnesium and Calcium?

See Marnie's posts about how important these are to the muscles!!!
Good luck!
sorry I can't be of more help to you right now. You can do a search for magnesium in search terms and that should give you stuff about muscles vis a vie lyme.

The best "supplement" for atrophied muscles is exercise, especially nautilus or weight training.

There are protein powders and L-Glutamine which will help with muscle strength but only if you couple those with strength training.

You really can't build muscle from a supplement alone.

Are you being treated for Lyme disease?

Take Complex B vitamins and magnesium for cells,cq10, glocosomine for joints, and a multi-vitamin, light exercise.

Hi and WELCOME! Get a LLMD or at least Dr that is willing to learn about lyme. "Lyme literacy" means, first and
foremost, knowing how to diagnose the disease accurately. Borrelia Burgdorferi is a clinical diagnosis, based on symptoms and on your response to treatment. Good Luck, bumpy road ahead.
