I know what you mean. I'm a bug magnet myself. Some of us are just sweeter than others.
Sorry you have to go thru this!

dogs must have advantage plus to keep off the ticks. i dusted my lawn with sevin dust and it knocked the tick population to zero, non on dogs none on people.
i know many people will disagree with the sevin dust but it is the least invasive that works.Pyrythrins also work but these are dangerous to everybody.also dursban is great but deadly to everything. Long pants a must prefer sweatpants or thinner that have a band around the leg. high socks, and a hat, they fall from the trees onto the head. check kids every hour for ticks and prior to entering house, don't want any in house to sit in carpet and multiply. can also sevin dust carpet and leave for couple hours for fleas and ticks in house.
Did you talk to Dr. Jones about this? While I was with him last week I asked about the kids being reinfected while we were here. He said that we needed to be careful incase we were infected with a lyme strain that is resistant to the antibiotics we are on. Not to make you worry!!!!! Just wanted to pass this on.
