I am back to my LLMD tomorrow. I have been on a new treatment protocol for five weeks. I was wondering when I can expect to feel better---no, I do not mean it as when I will be cured or anything. But IF the meds are working, should I feel at least an eensy weensy bit better? I am on Biaxin 1000mg and Plaquenil at 400mgs. I am just concerned that the meds may not be doing much. No herxing, no nothing.

At five week s is when I started to feel relief with the same exact medicine you are on. Hope it's good for you.

Plaquenil almost immediately reduced stiffness and swelling in my hands. Besides that, I didn't really feel better until month 7.

Some people are lucky and never herx. But talk to your LLMD about it, you may need a different abx.

Thank you both.
I am interested to know that Plaquenil had such a quick effect on you. After five weeks by joints still keep me up and sound like popcorn even when my shoulders move from hicoughing.
