my LLMD is away on family emergency, and I was able to get an appt with a different one but not til the 27th. (she's away til then) My relapse is getting worse-- feels like Babs and lyme. Headaches, nausea, fatigue, periph neuropathy, etc. etc.

I have a fair amount of zith left over, not much mepron, and a good supply of amox.

i am thinking about taking the zith for a week til my appointment. I've taken it before, a year ago and 2 yers ago, for 6 weeks, so nothing new. I just don't want to get even worse before this appt.

What do you think?

hi there!

Since I am similiarly experiencing a relapse, after months of feeling well, I know how scary this can be. If it were I, I would definitely take zith. (amox did nothing for me..., but that's me)

Good luck! I just think that letting a relapse get out of control can be worse, and you may start experiencing symptoms that you never even had....This happened to me,( I started to experience the sensation of burning skin, which I had NEVER HAD!) so I personally would try to prevent that.

This is my personal viewpoint. Good luck!

I finally took the mepron and zith. BAd night though, little sleep. IT's only a week til the LLMD appt, maybe taking the zith this week will at least help me feel like I'm preventing it from getting worse, rather than waiting while each day drags by.
