Hey all

Long time I havent been on because I have been well for the most part and had a baby 1 year ago yesterday.....I have been on prednisone for my asthma and unfortunately once again it is exacerbating my lymes symptoms....muscle twitching, forgetfulness, exhaustion and fatique...any suggestions are greatly appreciated and I will be coming off next week. The dose was large 50 mg of prednisone and now I am on 40mg and going to taper. I am so worried that every time I try and believe I am cured it bites me on the backside....any vitamins that would help???? I am soooooo frustrated ....this illness needs to be cured for good.

That really stinks!

How's that beautiful baby!!??

Is there anyway you can get your dr to give you lower doses of steroids....or only use the steroid inhalers?

If you can keep it to 5-7 days and a lower dosage, you might be able to 'get by.'

I now have asthma too, and I'm on Advair. I haven't had to take prednisone, and I would fight it tooth and nail if they told me I needed it.

That said....breathing is not optional!...so if your health was in serious trouble, ignore me!
