I'm in my 5th week of Rocephin with Actigall.

1 week ago I began having bloating & gas. Yesterday I began feeling stinging in my skin below the waist, and tightness in my mucous membranes -- no itching, just tightness.

I don't have thrush, which is usually where I have to fight yeast. I am taking nystatin.

The side-effects of the actigall include gas, bloating, & itchy, dry skin.

Has anyone had side effects like those above from actigall? Or is this yeast?

I don't usually have many medication side effects, but I know I am having other side effects from the Actigall -- hair falling out & depression.

Thank you for your help. I don't want to add diflucan to everything I'm already taking if I don't have to.

I also have been bloated and itchy skin. I asked my llmd if it were yeast or something else and he said hard to know, but wanted to start me on another yeast buster. I need to follow-up with llmd on this issue because it continues to be a problem.

I only took Actigall for three months....dont' recall any side effects.

Make sure your diet is "clean." Nothing is better than a good diet to keep the yeast at bay. Nystatin is good! keep it up!
