Pretty much the same symptoms as lyme. I have, myco fermentans. treatment is also pretty much the same. I had been treating mycos and just now found out I have Lyme. I have achieved a very high state of remission before I knew about the lyme.

I have had myco m. since oct 03. The myco was one of the first test that came back befor all the lyme and other co-infections. My myco came back high again on the last set - with the others yet to come back - Minocycline is what I am now on to get it down - For me - the myco really hit my left lung and trachia. also the typical pnemonia symptoms for me were very stong. the babs also compounds these symptoms. But I could tell things were getting better when the nausiosness started to leave .

Lynliz, Both Minoucat & Porsche refered some good sites to read .Myco was my first infection that showed up (was treated with I.V. Rocephin)Mycoplasmas also can be a very political subject, just read up and learn and try to keep an open mind. Peace be with you, Robin

Rocephin will not treat mycoplasma infections they don't have a cell wall. Only tetracyclines, macrolides and floroquinlones work. What antiboitic you should go on depends a lot on the species that you are infected with.
