I am pregnant and having much trouble getting in to see a lyme Dr (long story, of course!)
Anyhow, I am writing to see if anyone had advice as to what I can be doing / taking while pregnant to help assure my baby's health (I know there are no guarantees he will be lyme free though). I am no longer taking any prescription meds but want to make sure I do everything else that might help (diet? herbs?). Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!
There is one Lyme doctor that is world renouned for treating pediatric lyme...he is the one I would call. We can't cite names here but if you do a little research I bet you can find his name.
Under the circumstances hopefully you can at least get a phone consult.
I am sorry that you are having to deal with lyme while pregnant. It is important that you get the right abx's necessary that are safe to take while pregnant to give your baby a fighting chance against lyme.
Take care.
