A friend of mine was just given 10 days of Biaxin XL for sinus/bronchial problems, and a friend of his, who is an RN, told him that being out in the direct sunlight may interfere with his absorption of the drug. I told him I'd heard of sun photosensitivity with certain drugs but I'd never heard of this -- unless it's from too much Vitamin D? Anyway, I figured someone here would know?

Anyone? This friend works as an exterminator in a country town and has had many tick bites, but figures he won't get Lyme because he got the vaccine.

From what i've read the vaccine needed yearly boosters.
As we all know the vaccine is no longer on the market. There is a canine one.
