Well I pulled a blunder the other day. I cut the top of my thumb, cutting the tendon in two. Needed an 1 1/2 hour operation to correct and about 20 hours hospital stay.

During that 20 hours in the hosp. they had an IV with water and saline and my symptoms
went away.

No sweats, ringing in the ears and sleap ok.

As soon as I was home back on the doxy they
all came back.

Wonder if it's the doxy doing it or if the water saline helped?

I hate to keep cutting myself to feel better
LOL.

This is really interesting...I had to go into hospital for a laparoscopy last year. Had a general anesthetic and was in for about 5 hours. ALL my symptoms disapeared for about 24 hours. I didn't have any saline etc. (as far as I know, no antibiotics etc. I think it must be something in the anesthetic that might do something to the bugs.

They had me on saline for about 3 1/2 hours before the operation and no ringing in the ears or sweats at that time.

I wasn't put out for the operation, they just did a local on my arm.

Eather the ketes hid or I bleed some out.

The more I think about it, I think you were right with your first thought that it was the saline that disabled the spirochetes. My symptoms of aching joints and eye floaters disappeared- I could see clearly for the first time in six years, not to mention all the other symptoms. I'm definately going with the salt & Vit C regime!
