Hi wrotek:

Many Lymies use Samento/Prima Una de Gato. The Allergy Research Group product is an excellent one: http://www.allergyresearchgroup.com/proddesc/products/primaunadegato.htm

It is best to use under the care of a physician. You also probably want to start at a very low dose - even one drop/day - to see how you respond, and build up slowly.

I take as much magnesium as my body can tolerate. I use CoQ10 at about 400 mgs. a day and it really helps with the energy and overall well being. Great for the heart too. Then I take Nattokinase to keep excess fibrin down. It also blocks angiotensin to a degree.

These 3 are the only 3 I will not do without. They are the ones that have given more then they take in cost. I have tried a multitude of natural supplements in my 24 years of dealing with this stuff. I have managed to narrow it down to this and am doing really good.

Yes. Most definitely. Anything that will put the brakes on the glycolysis pathway sugar - not oxygen - to make energy, and, at the same time (!!!), put the brakes on the cholesterol pathway. Find things that lower glycogen levels AND lower cholesterol levels...do BOTH simultaneously all rolled into ONE.

There is more than one thing that will do the above.

The above does not treat the SYMPTOMS...it goes to the SOURCE.

Then you must deal with the toxins (acids) released from the die-off.

You can counter this to a degree, or use something to ABSORB toxins, but keep in mind...SOME inflammation is, and always will be, a part of the healing process. It is also PROTECTIVE.

I read about the "podi pads" on this site. Just started trying them so can't be sure but just got back from Charlotte NC and was expecting to be in bed for a few days as usual after traveling. My pads had come while I was gone and I tried them. I woke up the next morning feeling good and was able to function.
Recently I found a naturopathic doctor who does colonic irrigation and he put me on a very cleansing diet, taught me about food combining. I haven't felt this good in years.
If you can't find a good colonic irrigation technician or naturopath, you can still do a colon cleanse, try "Arise and Shine" and check out the book "The pH Miracle" to help you change your diet to alkalize your system. You will be amazed at the improvement. It won't be overnight but it will be steady and worth it.
Another item I pulled out of my pantry and started using again is "Barley Life" from www.theaimcompanies.com they have a "Garden Trio" or something like that which is the powdered greens, "Barley Life" powder carrot juice and poweder beet juice. The first time I drank it a couple of weeks ago I couldn't believe how good I felt withing a half hour or so. Now I try not to forget to drink at least one glass a day.
My husband and I are having renewed hope continued improvement.
I have been reminded that there is no magic bullet. The antibiotics can help but we must clean up our bodies and eat very carefully. If it isn't going to make you healthy, don't eat it.
I have also learned a lot from "The Macrobiotic Way" a great intro book into a healthy way of eating and living.
Good luck and hope you feel better.

I'm finding that major detoxing has been a tremendous help in regulating intestines and tummy problems, and I'm ever so grateful to MO. (Thanks, MO)

Also, I take numerous supplements, but calcium, magnesium, B complex, and glucosamine/MSM top my list of ones I NEVER forget to carry with me.

Have been off abx for what will be one year on August l5.
