The obvious question that always comes to mind regarding slow healing wounds is, "Could you have Diabetes?"
In my opinion, any chronic illness can slow down healing. Stress -- physical or mental -- weakens the adrenal glands and one of the most important nutrients for adrenal function is Vitamin C. Vitamin C is required to repair tissues.

I have had some slow healing wounds as well mainly on the feet. I have been tested and don't have diabetes either. I think anything that compromises your immune system could slow down the healing.

I have very slow wound healing as well and developed keloid scars on three wounds this year. In the Hope to Heal Lyme DVDs, one of the doctors mentioned collagen issues with Lyme and the higher incidence of keloid scarring.
