Very sorry to hear that! I was in the hospital a few weeks ago with a serious infection following surgery. Very glad to get out of that alive myself!

Have you been treated for Lyme for a long time? Did they put you on blood thinners now? Many with Lyme have hypercoagulation and that puts us at risk for strokes.

I hope your recovery goes well. Hang in there!

I know how you feel..... I also landed in the hospital with a seizure-like attack.
I was home on disability for a month.

3 lesions on my brain. No MS diagnosis or anything else for a long time, until I got a positive WB at my new LLMD.....

Hang in there, it gets better. Don't overdo it for awhile- get your rest.

Glad you are joining us, but sorry you are having such a hard time. Take good care of yourself.

The lesions on your brain are a common Lyme symptom -- you could have Lyme and other tick-borne diseases and NOT MS. Many are misdiagnosed with MS when they really have Lyme.

My husband has "several" brain lesions and he also has tremors which progress into seizure-like spells. It is really scarey for me because he has these episodes 2 or 3 times a day.

When he has these spells, sometimes he can only babble nonsense and other times his jaw locks up and he can't speak at all. I always worry that he could really be having a stroke and I wouldn't know the difference.

Seizure meds don't work for him -- have tried 5 or 6 different ones. When he takes antibiotics and herxes he could have 4 or 5 episodes a day and the tremors are much worse. Hubby also has babesia and bartonella.

Hope you are seeing a LLMD and are getting Lyme treatment. Have you been tested or treated for coinfections?

Thank you all for replying.
I have had diagnosed Lyme for four years.

I looked up MS on the net and surprize..sonds a lot like Lyme. I think MS is caused by Lyme. In all I read on MS they do not know what causes it.

Thank You all for your support.

Love, HH
