In an effort to spread the word about Lyme Disease, I have purchased 50 Lyme Awareness bracelets and am offering them free (shipping included) to the first 50 people that request one. If you are interested, the URL is:

UPDATE: URL Removed at present. Will update again when I can get more bracelets. Have run out of the first 50. Thanks

Best,

Scott, thank you for your kind offer; I just took you up on it.

Looked at your web site skimming thru things...looks good.

May I make a suggestion from a person with very thick eye glass lenses? The print is really small, 10 pitch? Could you enlarge it at least to 12 pitch for those of us who strain to read the GOOD info that you/others have spent a lot of time putting together?

Best wishes on your lyme journey like the rest of us. 7-04, I was finally correctly dx after being misdx for 34 years!

Hi Betty,

Thanks for your note. I will look at changing the font size. Glad that you find the site useful.

I guess my eight years is nothing compared to 34 years. Wow. I am so happy to hear that you have finally gotten a diagnosis.

Best to you,
Scott

Hi Scott,

Thank you! I just ordered one. I love that they are lime green in color. That was very sweet of you.

I'm sort of new here, so it was also good to see your website and I am going to have to check it out!

Cheers,

Alison

I don't know if you have any left, but I just requested one. I was SO excited to see this as I've been wanting one and we just can't afford one right now.

So grateful.

What a wonderful thing to do, Scott. Thank you! I would love to have a lyme awareness bracelet, but I don't want to take one of the free ones you're offering away from someone who truly can't afford to buy one. Can you please post where you bought them from? Seems like I saw this advertised once on the web somewhere, but I just tried searching for a site to buy from and I didn't find one. Can you help me out? TIA.

Wishing you the best,
Nutmeg

By the way, nice website - just added you to Favorites on my laptop! Just ordered a bracelet - hope you still have one handy! I'll certainly wear it every day!

I just decorated a pair of old jeans with the green ribbon and am thinking of getting a T-Shirt made as well!

I have been giving of catchy phrases to print on shirts - any suggestions???

Thanks Again,
Maria Stella Garcia

Scott,
I don't mind paying for a bracelet to support the cause but can't find where to order them. Can you supply the info for us to order our own so that we don't take the free ones.

The source that I ordered from was a bulk-order only. I have seen them on Lyme.org and a few other sites if you google for "lyme awareness bracelets". Hope that helps! Best to you. Scott

Scott,
Your site looks terrific!! and so helpful to so many folks, thanks for all of your hard work.

I am interested in some bracelets, but want to pay you for them becuz I want more than one. I want to send one to a woman who is helping me raise money for "Under Our Skin" and one to the creator of the docmentary. Just as a gesture of support.

Keep up the good work!!!!!

Scott,
Now you tell me! I already ordered mine from The Lyme Disease Foundation. Proceeds benefit that organization.

I don't know who asked, but they're 3$each or 4 for 10$ Lime green and glow in the dark!

The bracelet says, Do a tick check! WWW.LYME.ORG.
More people have asked what does that color mean.

I wished I had known about the freebies before.

You are generous for thinking of us Scott.

There are several different bracelets I have seen. I have ordered a couple from different places that were all "Lyme" bracelets. Some had HOPE - ENDURANCE - COURAGE, etc. You can contract with other places to have custom ones made which may be what some organizations have done. I have also seen slight differences in the color. Some more of a dark lime / green and one that was a much brighter lime color. If you already got one from the other organization, I am sure the money will benefit us in some way. Best

Scott,
I wear the bracelet you sent (from the first batch) a lot.

You're really wonderful to order it, and, as I've already told you, I especially like what your bracelet says.

So I echo what others have said and thank you again for your generosity. It really means a lot!

Andie
