I am lucky enough to get in to see a fabulous Lyme specialist this Friday. It is a VERY pricey appointment and I want to make sure I ask all the best questions. I have dealt with my Lyme for a while now, but I am currently pregnant and want to ask every possible question I can about my baby's future and my health after delivery. Of course the Dr isnt psychic and wont know how we will be doing for sure, but if anyone has any advice as to what I need to make sure to ask her about, I would really appreicate hearing it - THANKS!

Number one would be what medicines / herbals (if the doc works with them) will be safe for you to take to treat lyme while you are pregnant.

And, congratulations!!!

Moving this up.

You might want to try reposting this with the word "pregnant" in your title -- will get more responses that way.

I am pretty sure I have read about others saving the cord blood to be tested to make sure the baby doesn't have Lyme or another tickborne disease. I think there are some links to pregnancy in the "Newbie Links" -- should be somewhere in the last 4 or 5 pages of posts under medical.
