I have been taking 100mg of Minocycline 2x a day for the last 10 days.

Today, I had really bad heartburn for most of the day and my hands begin to itch really bad tonight - almost a burning sensation.

Am I herxing now?

Is this a good thing?

Is there a period of time when this will end?

Thank you for reading this. I look forward to your comments.

Could be a herx could also be a slight reaction to minocycline. The heartburn probaly not drinking enough water when your taking it.Make sure you take acidophilis 2or 3 hrs after or before your abx.

Thats a pretty low dose of abx.

The itching hands could be it. But the heartburn is likely from not eating enough food with the abx.......and yes, drink plenty of water.

keep us posted!

Not sure if 200 mg a day is a low dose.

Certainly I have seen people with higher daily dosages. The complication with me is that I was dxed with MS in 1997.

How long did your herxing last?
