I am having an ODD scary thing happen
to me since going back on antibiotics.

I am on the zithro flagyl, have been on it
for about 8 days and herxing like heck.

I was off antibiotics rifing, and anyways, I am now getting sick again from the sun,
and now when I eat my homemade yogurt, I am getting severe throat swelling.
I now get the throat swelling from the sun too,

and was thinking of the Marshall Protocol, and how I think? they said to avoid the vitamin D foods?

I never had this happen before I started antibiotics 8 days ago.

Possibly the zithro is making the lyme morph?

I am back at the LLMD in a couple weeks, but am scared of this new thing with the yogurt.

I have been hesitant to start the MP because of being off antibiotics, but was thinking of asking here if others have this happen?

Maybe just the Minocycline would help me, but the zithro is working, depression so much better.

thanks,

Trish

How much sugar is in the yogurt?

Do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor, but I DID stay at a Holiday Inn Express!

Hi Trish,
So sorry you're having problems.
I haven't experienced anything like that, so I can't offer much advice.

My recommendation would be to check with your LLMD - ASAP.
Better to err on the side of caution, especially when you say your throat is swelling after eating your yogurt.

Since this is the weekend, you may want to consider stopping the yogurt for now & take acidophilus to replenish the good bacteria in your system.
From what I've read, I'm not sure eating yogurt will give a sufficient amt of acidophilus.

In his Guidelines, Dr B recommends:
"a full container of sugar-free, non-fruit flavored yogurt that contains active cultures daily, and take acidophilus, two after each meal." www.ilads.org/burrascano_1102.html
Read "Basic Daily Regimen" (about page 24) &
"Managing Yeast Overgrowth" (about page 29)

Hope someone will have more info for you.

thanks,

The yogurt is homemade, plain, sugar free.

I have used this off and on for a long time,
so not sure what is going on.

My leg goes numb and so does me left hand from this yogurt now.

HI Health

I have the sun problems, some years are worse than others.

I also had the yogurt thing once with 1 particular brand of yogurt, can't recall what the name of it was. My mouth felt wierd and had the sweling in throat, never ate that brand again.

I have just recently started on Plaquenil for the sun sensitivities, it seems to help a little. I also take antihistamines every day as well for this.

Good luck, it's scary stuff I know.

Hi Barb,

Thanks for the response, I am trying to
pinpoint this.
It is not just the yogurt,
it is NOW also my probiotics, yes
my probiotics, and have tried other
one and it is the same! sticky throat
swelling, and it is not the candida
dieoff as just on antibiotics,
something is up.

Have you been treated for Babesia?
Maybe babesia is the culprit?
Maybe the good bacteria feed the babesia
in the throat?
I am also drier from the probiotics,
it has something to do with stimulating
my immune system, probiotics stimulate
the immune, read this in a few books.

ALSO, did you do the Minocycline? or the
Marshall protocol?

I have not, only lyme.

thanks,

Trish
