Visited a magnificent store today. Ceragem I think is the name. Totally FREE treatment. And apsolutely no talk of selling!

The massage table use massage, pressure points, and infra red heat.

I have chronic lyme but havn't started abx treatment yet the way I felt an hour after the treatment was like a major herx. Felt like I had been run over by a truck,

Just wondered if anyone had tried this.

Also they encourage you to come everyday or as often as you can for a free massage for at least three months to be assured it helps you before you even consider purchaseing one.

Fell asleep great last night, very rare for me. AND.... woke up this morning at 7:30 and got out of bed!

Foot pads very gunky and gross!

So I think the combo is awesome get the toxins moving then move them on out.

My five year old asked me if I wasn't sick anymore today. I said no I'm still sick but I feel pretty good today!

Niki,

Was this an infrared heat lamp (didn't help hubby)? or was it a lymphatic massage where the infrared source looked kind of like a handheld hairdryer ? -- hubby had this done a few times several years ago early in his illness but before Lyme was actually diagnosed.

I have seen something similar advertised in Alternative Medicine Magazine -- I think it might have been called the "Lymphstar Pro".

At the time hubby was very toxic and he went from passing out about 1 time weekly to every day after 1st treatment and then multiple times daily after 2nd treatment. I think it overstressed his already overstressed adrenal system or the toxins were just not being eliminated quickly enough.

The environmental doctor at the time suggested hubby try 1 day free in his detox unit -- this should give you an idea of how sick and toxic he was at that time.

1st he sat in a sauna for about 5 or 10 minutes at most -- Parkinsonian tremor (a year before myoclonus and seizure-like episodes) got much worse so stopped sauna.

2nd he rode an exercise bike for about 5 or 10 minutes at most -- started dry heaves although did not actually vomit. Nixed that idea.

3rd he just sat on a mini-trampoline and gently bounced up and down -- didn't even last 5 minutes before he passed out.

The Doctor was convinced at this point he had a serious neurological disorder and scheduled an appt for us in Florida a week later -- we were in South Carolina at the time. I won't give the details of that drive other than to say he had a couple of detours to ER's and a psych ward before we got to the neurologist 2 weeks later.

If this infrared treatment helps, I say go for it. Just be careful not to overdo or you could get too toxic.

Hubby has since done manual lymphatic massage and tolerated that better.

I am sending you that long email I promised a couple of days ago.

while i haven't done it, it makes sense to do as an integral part of a regimen, unless contraindicated due to some medical condition(s).

It is a bed you lay down on and the infro red heat comes up through the bed. Then if you can take it, there are rolly bars that go all the way up your spine and head and then press on certain points.

They have stores all over the US. But still pretty new so not in every city.

It is FREE did I mention that. It is a forty minute massage and they would love to see people come in every day!
