my fiancee has been on iv therapy rocephin for three weeks and is not feeling any better yet. Has anyone else still felt awful after beind on iv that long? We have appt. w/ Dr. P Sept. 29, hopefully will get some answers.

This is not very long. People who have been missed at the early stage typically need much longer treatment.

He was on it back in 1997 for 3 months, and keeps getting relapses. His doctor from back then is no longer practicing and we are having a hard time trying to find someone to treat, so three weeks was all they did for now, hopefully Dr. P has some answers...

I was on IV for 3.5 months until i had to quit due to gallbladder sludging. It did very little for me and it was becuz i had undiagnosed babesia....Did he test for co-infections? Robin in houston

yes they tested it and it came back negative for co-infections.....hope we can get to the bottm of it soon.
