Hi again, I just picked up my prescription, it is 250 mg, and have to take 3 pills two times a day totalling 1500 mg a day. Does this sound familiar and do you think it's too much or too little.

Yes,that is what he gave me also,worked good for a couple of months and then I plateud.

250 x 3 = 750 mg, I think you meant 500 x 3. If not, I think your dosage is too low. 1000 mg is given to people with mild illnesses or acne.

Each pill is 250 mg. taking 3 pills two times a day, which totals 6 pills for the day = 1500 mg
