A YES vote means that the Newbie Help Links thread would permanently remain at the top of the medical forum and people would not have to keep posting to it to bring it to the top. Only the moderators can make a topic a feature topic.

A definite YES as long as Tree is able to update as necessary and is willing to continue all the Great Work.

Nice idea. Plus it will take up less server room in the long run since it won't have to be attached to every email for a newcomer.

A YES for my mom who has lurked, but will start posting, I believe, once she gets her Igenex test back.
A YES on behalf of my daughter who will one day need to learn a bit more about this disease since she's got it too.
And a YES for my hubby that SHOULD be lurking AND learning, and possibly posting because now he's got TWO females in the house with Lyme and he needs to know stuff! (And he might even have it too...if I can ever get him to fork over some of his blood & money!)
So that counts as 5 YESes for me and the people I currently represent.
Thank you!

Yes, and a big thanks to Treepatrol for all the work he does, both on the links and everything else he does.

I think there should be an entire category for new people. There should be a section like medical questions containing all the information and links for those recently bitten, just diagnosed etc. It should contain the Lyme disease treatment guidelines, testing info. etc. Tree's links are great and there should be a way to keep the newbie info at the top instead of the constant "back up" mess. With the recent upgrades, it should be easy to organize this better. Good idea!!!
