I am Herxing from Bart, and I have a host of lovely symptoms. Today, I had tremors. This is quite uncommon for me.
Anyone have this with Bart? With Bart Herxing?
I'm taking Cipro.
Thanks for your input.
Steph

I did, but the tremors appeared to be much more related to Lyme for me.
The bart herx I experienced was more in the form of muscle cramps, pains, extreme weakness and fatigue.
Hope you're feeling better soon Steph..

Yea for me tremors are lyme herx, not bartonella, which is eye crap, shocks through system, particularly feet and weird bumps on skin. Lymelady but who knows???

Acoording to spouse's LLMD tremors or myoclonus (muscle jerks) can be caused by Lyme, babesia or bartonella. Kind of complicates the picture doesn't it!
Cipro does cross the blood-brain barrier to some extent and if these are Parkinsonian type tremors then they originate in the brain. Very mild fine tremors of course could be from a magnesium deficiency.
Be sure and take COQ10 and other antioxidants to protect your brain.

Thanks for sharing your experiences, folks!
It could be a Lyme Herx. I'm actually attacking the Bart and Lyme at this time, though I'm not at what I thought to be a therapeutic dose of doxy yet. I am ramping up slowly with all my meds because there are so many, and I Herxed beyond belief initially.
They kill my stomach, too, despite medicine for that. Yikes.
I've had tremendous neuropsych Herxing since I started the ramping, and that was expected, but I never had the tremors.
You people are swell!
Steph
P.S. A guy is here cleaning our oil furnace, and, since it's a mobile home, the furnace is right here in the living space. I think the smell is going to kill me, figuratively, of course! I have MCS.
