I don't know if this post should be in seeking a doctor but I hope that someone will read it and respond.
My husband has severe neurological lyme disease and has been sick for 3 years. We got a positive WB from Igenex.
He is being treated by an LLMD in Canada with amox and probenicid, fairly high dose. He is not getting worse since being on the medication, he did improve some after being on it for 3 months, but he is far from recovered. He has been on this combo for 6 months.
We read an article about Dr. H and were wondering if anyone has been a patient of his and if they improved on his treatment.
We are rather desperate at this point and wonder if we should pursue getting an appointment with this doctor.
Any comments or advice would be really appreciated.
Thank you!

I was a patient of his for 3+ years until he abruptly left the Houston practice.

I feel he is very insightful and interested in figuring out lyme etc. I was quite pleased w/ the care I and my husband received from him and wish he hadn't left us. I do know he was/is very interested in his research which, has in turn, helped others in their treatment.

While I know he established a practice for a while in Del Rio and also in Colorado, I did read on here last month or so that he is no longer seeing patients again.
