Doggone it,
You have to read the material that comes with your scripts...if you had you would know that if you experience leg pains after taking zocor or lipitor it is a very bad sign.

If it were me...and it has been in the past with both meds...my body or the lyme or whatever does'nt like statins....I would stop the zocor immediately and phone my physician who prescribed it or at least the pharmacist......

LTZ is correct...
The web is full of warnings about Statins....

Plus, If you ingest diet sodas stop ASAP. Aspertame causes simular symptoms...

I'm sorry, but Annette are you on either of these medications? I did not see where you stated that... maybe in another post.?

Does the tingling occur at any particular time of day? What meds are you taking?

Among my most frequent symptoms are tingly fingers and tingly, vibrating weird feeling feet & ankles. My hands and feet sometimes get very cold.

I find soaking in epsom salts helps.

These symptoms could be related to your spine. Tight muscles, denegenerating discs, etc. can put pressure on your nerves. All of this can be caused/exacerbated by Lyme.

As she stated above she also mentioned in another post that she was feeling better and then after taking the zocor her legs started hurting.

I understand about the sx of lyme and the similarities....I was haveing raynauds symptoms in my feet till I did the ketek....

However I was able to distinguish the rash brought on by zocor and the leg pain I experienced with lipitor over and above and as a direct result of adding statins to my regimen of medications.

Also flouroquinilone type abx as in levequin causes tendonitis and the claforan(clindamycin) I IV'd caused calf pain in me and ceftriaxone always seemed to affect my lungs....

All this stuff has some kind of reaction to our particular bodies. We have to be very mindful as best our lyme minds can be to cause and effect of medications as opposed to our disease...
