I was wondering what the dosage of Zythromax some of you are on ? I am trying to get my insurance to pay for mine and I was just curious. Thanks

When I was on Zithro, I took 500mg 3x a day.

I couldnt seem to get the Rx filled at a regular pharmacy (it was such a high dosage). I called the local AIDS place and found out where the patients go to get their Rx filled--they carried the higher dosages.

My family is pulsing--we just take one 500 amonth.

It knocks me out for a whole weekend. I don't know how I could work if I took any more.

My dosage was 500 mg/day (2pink tablets) and since I am having a babs relapse I will start zithro+mepron again and this time the dosage for zithro is 750mg/day (3 pink tablets).

Did Zithromax 250mg twice a day at first every day, now pulse it 4 days on three off.

I took one 250 mg twice a day. (AM&PM)

I'm not sure how many doctors factor in a patients size, but I'm small 106 lbs, so maybe that's why my dose seems less than some others.
