Riders & Donations are needed IMMEDIATELY to reserve Buses for the MA Lyme Hearings! Please distribute this widely...
We are organizing some buses to take groups of Lyme disease patients and their families to the Massachusetts State House in Boston, MA on October 12th, 2005
This is the first time in the State of Massachusetts that legislators have taken an interest in the plight of Lyme disease sufferers. We have to seize this moment and show the politicians of Massachusetts that there are great numbers of afflicted patients who could have been spared their suffering were it not for the narrow, one-size-fits-all diagnostic and treatment protocols espoused by a select few researchers on Lyme disease who are from Massachusetts.
The testimony is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am and, therefore, we are planning to arrive at the State House for 9:30 am.
The logistics of the bus transportation are being worked out at this time and we need to finalize our plans NOW. That is why we need to know who can come ASAP! Plan on approx $25 per person. If you cannot attend, please consider a donation in any amount to help us reserve the buses NOW ! (The bus companies will not hold the buses for us without the $$ NOW and the patients are not signing up quickly enough!) Consider that by riding the bus:
* You don't have to drive in/out of Boston. *You can relax in a comfortable seat on the bus. *You do not have to walk from the parking garage to the State House. *You will ride into Boston with a group of people with a shared interest. *You will be able to provide vital support to the efforts and not be exhausted by the time you arrive. : BUS CONTACT PERSONS:
