I have my first appt. with LLMD Dr. P in CT. Does anyone have any feedback on him?

I hope he treats based on symptoms because I no longer test positive. I only tested positive in 1993 and had a relapse in 97 & 05.

I don't see him but I do know that he treats very aggressively, so be careful. I know a few who do see him.

Also, check his credentials & track record. Just a suggestion.

You can contact the Wilton Support Group and ask for references from some of those folks.

DMC,
Thanks so much for the info. I was on 4 weeks of Rocephin and then my pcp stopped my meds and I was getting better... that was about 8 days ago. I see Dr. P in 7 days and i have gotten worse again now that I am off the abx. I'm hoping Dr. P will perscribe something after my first visit. I can't keep missing work!!!! Will he wait for blood work result to start treatment?

Thanks agian.

Dr. P. in Ridgefield has been recommended to me by several people. I think he is a true LLMD, and will base treatment on a clinical diagnosis. (I was going to go to him, but when I was first looking for an LLMD, I was able to get an appt. with Dr. H. much sooner.)

Let us know how your appt. goes!
