I have read that tetracycline can diminish the absorbtion of mepron by 40%. Does anyone know if this is also true of the other antibiotics in the tetracycline family, such as minocycline or doxycycline?
I have been on mino and mepron (and ketek) together for a while now, and have been herxing like crazy (I have lyme and babesia).
Thanks, Darius

My LLMD said I could add it to my Mino and Zithro combo. I didn't at that time, but am taking it with Zithro and Clindamycin currently...I actually find it to be working better than any other combo so far.
Since you're herxing, that would tell me that it's working just fine.
