I've been off abx (Rocephin) for 2 weeks and I finally had my first appointment with LLMD on Thursday.

He prescribed Tetrecycline 500 mg 3 times a day. Yesterday my aches and pains intesified quite a bit (especially while trying to sleep) along with increades headaches. Also, I could not get warm last night.

I did not have a temp, but had a real chilly feeling. Is this a herx?

Had lyme since 1993 and this is my 2nd relapse.

Sure sounds like a herx. In the lyme world, everytime you start a new med and feel worse initially, that normally means the meds are working. Every single time my son started a new med he herxed.
