I have a neurological lyme, wich causes me to have vertigo, poor balance, head pressure, tinnitus and much more. I have been taking abx for 10 months (doxy and biaxin (1000mg) I take biaxin (1000mg) and plaquenil(300mg) I now reach a point my situation is stable and i get no result. This combinaison of mdication has been presented to me :flagyl and biaxin.
Flagyl has effect to irritable the nervous system, is it strong. I would like to know your result for those who have taken this. Would it be damaging if plaqunil, has been prior to that one? Cysts have been taken prior to that one? Among you, who has taken flagyl after plaquenil I'M very anxious about flagyl Thank you Chantal

yes, it's strong....start out SLOWLY, with very small doses [like 1/4 of a 250mg pill]
Would it be damaging if plaqunil, has been prior to that one? I don't see why it would...?? Cysts have been taken prior to that one? not sure I understand the question. Regular antibiotics cause the spirochetes to hide by forming cysts. You MUST treat these cysts with flagyl or a similar drug in order to get well. Among you, who has taken flagyl after plaquenil Well, I have....but my stomach wouldn't permit me to take very much plaquenil
Again, as long as you procede slowly, you'll be fine and it may eliminate your current symptoms with time. Tinidazole may be a better choice and it has the same action as flagyl.
