Hi all,

I'm getting a prescription for Doxycycline tomorrow. I'm also considering trying Diflucan partly because I've heard it can help Lyme, but also because I suffer from prostatitis and apparently it could help that too.

Are these medications OK to take at the same time? Would 24 days of 100mg Diflucan be sufficient?

Many thanks,

Paul

I don't have all the details here now, but my LLMD specifically had on my ABX list not to take Diflucan with Doxy. He put me on Nystatin instead.

Hmmmm....I didn't know that, Scott.

Nystatin is very safe...but stay away from the liquid, as it contains sugar.

Maybe when you go on another abx, you can take the Diflucan.

Why don't you check for drug interactions here:
