I haven't posted in awhile. My life has been stir crazy since July when austin was diag. Then while getting him better my fiance started having major problems with headaches and a bunch more symptoms.

We were thinking he had lyme. It turned out to be a subdural hemorrage in the brain. He had to have surgey last sunday. So my life has been so crazy I haven't had the time to visit the boards.

Austin is doing better. After he had the allergic reaction to the claforan. Dr J stopped all IV and just had him do orals to see how he would be. Well they removed the picc line last wed. We went to Dr J office on Oct 5th and he said that he is progressing nicely.

He is keeping austin on the oral zithro for awhile. We take him back on Dec 14th.

Great Great News! Thanks for posting the update on your son. It's inspiring especially since I see Dr. J for my first appt in a few weeks.
Sorry to hear about your fiancee. Glad they caught everything in time and that the surgery was a success. (I am assuming it was a success based upon your post [Smile] Let us know how he recovers.
Take care and hang in there. Your son is well on his way.
