I take Tindimax (tinidazole) rather than Flagyl. I tolerated it pretty well.

I will be starting it tomorrow (have to remember to pick up the Rx at the pharmacy today) so I will let you know how I tolerate it.

I've been taking it for over a week. Don't seem to be reacting to it at all. I'm taking 500 mg. twice a day. Is that the usual dose, or is that low?
Anyway, it's nice to be taking something that doesn't give me a bad reaction. ANY antibiotic gives me a bad/herx reaction.

I can handle the Tindamax better than the flagy. The flagyl really stirs up the nerve pain, etc. which is one of the side effects. Who needs that?
I read somewhere that tini has a anti-flammatory affect, has anyone heard of this also? Posts: 315 | From USA | Registered: May 2005

I'm going to be taking 500mg three times a day if I can tolerate it that frequently. It's hard enough for me to dose things twice a day and work it in with my sleep schedule (I sleep more than 8 hours a night) but I'll figure it out I guess!

Didn't do much for me, but it is much more easily tolerated than Flagyl.

Flagal stopped working for me now I take tini, one twice a day, two days a week along with my ABX. Then I have a week to reover.I think its easier than Flagal .It makes me reaaly fogged out ,tired ,nauseated and exteamly emotional and depressed. So I do get strong herx's from it and it seems to work well. Best wishes dana
