I have just finished 3 days of tini 250mg 2x a day.
Handled it so much better than flagyl. Just some muscle aches, infrequent nausea and tiredness. This I can take, but...
I am starting to feel pretty depressed. Just told picky kids to fix want they wanted for dinner so I can retreat to my bedroom. In a funny twist, they were thrilled.
Has anyone found tinizadole depressing? Beyond the usual pushing thru lyme feeling.

I can also handle tini better than Flagyl because of the nerve pain/stuff. And depression is one of my main "herx" symptoms. I will start crying for no reason, other than the usual "I am tired of this lyme fight" and when I try to explain to my husband why I am crying, I start laughing because there is nothing really upsetting me, just herxing. So, it's a good thing (per Martha)

yep.same thing when I take tini.I only can handle two day every other week.Really nausated and the uasual tired and body aches. But it also makes me horrilbe depressed crankie and i get emotional about everything.I think the emotional herx form tinda is the worst.I also find it laggs two to three days after. One time two days after taking I had a complete emtional melt down-which unusal for me because i am usually very steady in the emtional dept.i am on my second day today and already my husband has said enough already with the negative talk.(I am usually positive person) So hang in there .It is rough but the old you will probly be back in a few days. dana

I to tini F-Sun and I have noticed more depression, but don't know if it is from that or from my other abx because I started the tini about the same time I added LA bicillin, and now on with the Zithro and Mepron.
I am an emotional basketcase and maxed out fatigue wise..can't hard get up in the morning and fall back asleep when I get home from work...get up, eat, take meds, go back to bed...repeat...
