My husband suffers from severe pain in his buttock, thingh and knee. No pain further down his leg. His knee is often very red. The pain and the redness seem to worsen with exercise. I would have expected this knee to, if anything, feel hot but it is often very cold to the touch compared with his other knee. I have read about people feeling as if their limbs are cold but not about them actually being cold to the touch. Has anyone else experienced a cold joint like this? Is it a known LD symptom or do we have an unrelated problem here?

Brodie

Brodiemac.

I have this problem plus cold hands and sometimes nose.

There is condition Renault's, I believe, where coldness is percieved with redness.

I am trying to learn about it. You could do search here as it does come up.

I find that staying warm all over and not letting the cold get started helps.

Also, long underwear undershirt and pants. We can get some nice ones here that are not bulky.

A truck driver once told my mom that they where panty hose under trousers to keep legs warm!

I sometimes look like a catburglar with hat and gloves.

Sure you will get more good info here!

Susan
