Ok in reviewing my medical records after many years of dealing with lax investigation of symptoms and lax of attention to my symptoms. I finally got tired of being "put off" by my attending physicians.
At which point I requested a copy of my medical files which did take some time and persuasion to obtain them but laws are laws!
To my dismay I discovered the real reason behind the lack of genuine concern for my failing health.
My records indicated that I had a personality Pathology...here is what my records said:

Assessment:
1. Irritable bowel syndrome. Apparently the patient has never had hysocyamin of any similar products and she was given a prescription of Levsin. She apparently actually had the expectation that we would somehow be able to obtain lotronex for her.
2. Questionable history of colonic polyps. There are some inconsistencies in her history and we have asked her to request the medical records for pathology reports from the Florida hospital. I suppose colonoscopy may be required if we cannot obtain this if she truly did have colonic polyposis.
3. Neurologic symptoms which do not sound consistent with multiple sclerosis. Because of the several inconsistencies in history, I think that we must entertain the possibility of personality pathology in this patient.

that was dated in 01/24/01

WHY!
here is the reasoning why these notes were made...
I was being drilled for answers to questions. they were hammering the questions at me and not waiting for me to finish my answers and continuing into another question there for they noted that my parents were dead at age 60 and 68.. my parents were in fact at that point age 60 and 68... this is why they have reported me to be pathological... seriously ,.. how do they expect to accurately care for a patient when they can not even take accurate notes concerning history....

Then when I went back to a medically affiliated doctor on one occasion informing him that I had lyme and developed "hairy tongue", this is when the MD told me that the LD diagnosis was "hog wash" and that long term treatment with antibiotics would cause more adverse response and not benefit me since taking antibiotics long term would subject me to death if I were to need them to save my life. He further told me that people can obtain positive tests when the bacteria is not active rather dormant and not posing a threat to my body..
Ok my challenge if it is not active then why am I full of symptoms??

I say "HOG WASH" and "POOPOO" to these DUCKS!

they give little or no reason for why I have all these symptoms, why I am SICK, and thoroughly discount any logical explanation, rather leave more questions with the discount of it possibly being Lyme disease.
[Mad]
How many on this board have been subject to this sort of nonsense and side-stepping the issue???

My fav from my file is: "flat affect, fair eye contact, poorly groomed." Cant say it wasnt true, but I was still miffed to read it. (But proud of the middle part. Ol Hodologica, he may have a pretty flat affect goin', he may also not really wash his clothes or brush his teeth, but he'll look ye right in the damn eye to a fair degree.)

I was dx'd with major depression by multiple MDs when I reported fulminating flu and anxiety symptoms, super-mega-hyperactive cognition, 1000s heart palps per day, muscle twitching, GI problems, light and sound intolerance, etc etc etc. I wrote out all my sx before every appointment to make sure I wouldnt forget anything. At this point I could barely make it to the doctor, driven there by my parents. Somehow I felt pretty sure Paxil wouldnt quite cut it, know what Im sayin?

So much for the pros. A few family and friends also concluded I was nuts, which is true of most of our kind. They sure ate crow when I came up with some wacky rashes, waves of mouth sores, and a red red throat. Ha! Screw you!

After a year of antimicrobials, I'm waaaaaaaaay better and still treating. I wish doctors could experience what I feel like now, and then experience 15 minutes of what I felt like before treatment. Eh, make it 30 minutes.
