So what's happening with your Tx? Are you still making progress with artemisinin and amoxy? It's been a long time since you have posted about this. Thanks.

It has not been a cure as there is still a zoo living in our blood, but it has helped alot. It seems to be 'managing' the problem at least.
Most of all, the brain fog is gone. Having my mind back again, I can work and earn a living. You haven't seen much of me around here because I have been busy catching up. Being able to catch up instead of slipping behind is progress.
Our Dr also has us rotating some other ABX combinations... if any of them work really well I will let everyone know. So far though, nothing has shown striking effectiveness.
Amoxicillin (or other Penicillins) with Artemisinin has worked as good as anything we have tried and it is very inexpensive. It works for us, but of course others might have different strains that respond to different treatment.

Thanks for the update. When you say that it is expensive, are you talking about the amoxy? Have you thought about using bicillin instead? You can buy the dry stuff in Mexico really cheap, and then do them yourself.
Do you think that if you keep at it, that this combination will slowly but surely get rid of it all? Are you seeing less and less zoo animals in your soup?

Amoxicillin 500mg capsules can be gotten for about 20 cents each. The oral dosing is convenient for those of us whose stomachs can still handle orals.
A natural penicillin in an injectable form could be used, but if one was tryng to approximate the dose that would be taken of Amoxicillin on a gram for gram basis you would be getting an awful lot of shots if you do the math.
The much lower Penicillin levels from the Bicillin LA seem to help alot of people though, and there have been good reports from combining it with Artemisinin.
There is some dispute about which of the various zoo animals that can be seen in blood with a really good darkfield microscope are the troublemakers. The more you learn about this, the more you DO NOT know. Neither do our Doctors in many cases. (I asked.)
I don't know how far this will take me, but so far it is helping alot. I will be happy if it will just continue to keep this under control.
