I was so afraid to start flagyl because of the horrible herx everyone talks about. Started it Sunday and feel great. I even went 24 hours without taking Ibuprofen. That has not happened since the day I got my first sx.

I'm already taking 1/2 pill three times a day and will work up.

Has this happened to any of you??? I hope I don't jinx myself and end up in bed tomorrow.

My son actually tolerated flagyl pretty well. He herxed some, some slight depression, but nowhere near some of the problems encountered by others on this board.

I take 9 tablets per day. Some symptoms got somehow worse, but I am laughing anyway.
